Message	All my other car purchases were used for exactly that reason. I am the first to admit that my desire for the most modern amenities and CVT is not rational, or in my best economic interest. The best I can do here is make a good decision, given that I am going to buy a new car. (I note that for women, buying a new car is more important, since a breakdown can leave them very vulnerable. Also, a person that can't or won't work on their own car has a stronger reason to buy new, or newer. Neither case applies to me but it does apply to some.) - John
